Hey guys and gals whats up? I have a whole bunch of parts that have come off my MSP, some stereo stuff and a few other misc things that I need to get rid of before I make my trip to NY to start over. I am currently in TX, so for you local guys this might be helpful, but I would be willing to ship stuff as well. In the past I have tried to sell a couple of these things but the people flaked. So if these things I have listed here are something you think you may really want then let me know. If not, please dont give me the run around because I will be leaving very soon. Also I have pictures of everthing for sale, but due to how much there is I will spare the board of that overload. Thanks and have a great day.

I said $100 for the rims and I dont know weather or not they will fit a P5. There is one rim that may need to be repaired before you can use it, but I have never had tires on them either. I purchased them from a friend and thought of using them for racing but then my car got shifted to an all out show car, no autocrossing for me.

For those of you who keep asking about the rims, I will post all the pics I have. As for the struts and the gauges, I am almost certain they are spoken for as well as the seat belts. Thanks for all of your interest.

I know the last wheel looks a little rough, but if you know a good wheel repair guy that should be no problem to fix. I had a truck with a rim worse than that and was able to get it completely straightened. The exhaust is a stock MSP exhaust

The rims way around 18 to 20 lbs ea, im in the Dallas TX area, and around here it can cost anywhere between $75-125 to fix a rim. As for the spring and strut kit, the struts are spoken for, but the springs are still available.

Ah, damn. =P I'm going to have to skip on the springs... Found out they don't exactly work on the Protege5, at least not with consistant results. Ahh, well.

how u figure?

Well, I've been poking around, and about a quarter of the people are saying they cause problems, another quarter are saying they don't, and half are undecided. Hehe. I'm still looking into it, but from what I've been reading, I might need the perches (struts) to match. Gah. I wish I could find a straight reference to it.

TXMazdaSpeeder
06-16-2004, 12:29 PM
i really cant see why it would cause a problem if u got the matching strut perchs, i mean i wouldnt think mazda would put a part on one of there cars that they had to mod the car to make it work.

flat_black
06-16-2004, 01:35 PM
Well, if I could get the matching strut perches for it, I'd do that, but I assumed it was just the springs. Hehe

dragonballspeed

the only problem I could see with running these struts on a P5 would be the additional weight of the wagon style. But all in all the sedan and the wagon are pretty close in weight. The springs, rims, and all the monster stuff are still available for anyone who wants its.
