I'm trying to get an idea of how much it will cost because today, I hit a freaking bump so big, I went over it and it scratched underneath my right bumper. It's not that bad but a scratch is a scratch and even worst, my right tire popped so I'm on the spare tire right now. You think if I bring it to a shop they'll have the stock dunlop tires or will I have to special order them?

they will probably have to order them.

they run anywhere from about $89-150

if you got the money you should just get new tires all around...the stockers are mediocre

What tires would you recommend that are good and cheap?

I have been through the same problem you have. The consensus I got from all the shops was that it would take them about 2-3 days to get the tire and would cost about 160$. Thats just what I was told down here in ATL. You should try some of the discount tire websites like www.tires.com or www.whalentire.com. They might not be the fastest route but they could get you a much better deal on four tires than your one tire will be.

I went to Discount Tires and replaced all four with 205-50-16 Yokohamas for less than $500. As stated earlier, the Dunlops are just an alright tire. The Yokohamas stick better, look better and ride better. Plus, they fill the wheel well a little more with the 205 size (they are .4" taller and wider).

Good luck,

I just purchased a set of Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's from Tire Rack. $281 shipped and they are a much better tire than the OE Dunlops.

Man the stock tires cost so much, and I have to buy two of them. Pop a tire and have to replace both tires, how crappy is that..

OE Dunlop's cost $116.00+tax. Thats what we sell them for from a company called Tire Distributors. www.tiredistributors.com

So you have the stock tires on the back and gonna put the new ones on the front? Does anybody know how to take out the rims and put it on the new tires?

Hey subghetto, I'm reading these kumho Esctas ASX aren't that responsive compared to the stock tires and that when you take a turn, you can't keep accelerating with it and have more road noise then our stock tire.

Hey subghetto, I'm reading these kumho Esctas ASX aren't that responsive compared to the stock tires and that when you take a turn, you can't keep accelerating with it and have more road noise then our stock tire. They seem to handle pretty well and I like there thread design. I went to 1010tire.com (http://www.1010tires.com/)and they were 2nd to best rated for our car under the search engine for all season tires. I actually wanted to go with the Toyo Proxes TPT which are awsome tires but they were like $125 per tire. These tires are pretty decent and I seem to handle just fine all though they are a little bit more noiser than the stock tires but not by much. The stock dunlops aren't really that great for the price. For the price, the Kuhmos IMO are damn good tires.

EDIT: (hand) forgot to update my sig anyway I will get pics in a couple of days of the tires.

Most shops will match the Tire Rack price. (Mounting, balancing, disposal and valve stems extra).

If you are looking for Toyos, I found Proxes 4 for $68 each at Edge Racing. Cheapest price for these tires I have found so far. (Tire Rack does not sell them).

I've got the ASX in 215/40/17 and they aren't that bad. Not the stickiest tire, but a decent compromise. I think they are pretty quiet, but I had some Kuhmo 711's previously.
