Did my LSD break?

I've had a loud whining noise when i turned at low speeds for a while now. Tonite i noticed that it doesn't make the noise if put in to neutral. Whole time i thought the power steering was making this noise. My LSD seems to be working, what could that be???

if your lsd broke, your car wont move in gear. It'll revv up but no movement in gear.

i think its still power steering.. did u check the power steering fluid ? my rack and pinion was leaking so they changed it for me under warranty and the noise is gone.

Was this right after an autocross?
