I just put on my front motor mount and now it sounds like my exhaust is toucing somewhere and making the car vibrate very bad in 2nd gear. When you get on it at low rpms in second there is a bad vibration the whole way to redline. I'm not sure if its my SP2 or Ion's downpipe doing it. Or is this just completely normal with a motor mount? Its driving me nuts.

Due to more motor movement you might wanna check the heat shield above the 2 resonators (shield should be pushed far enuff not to hit the piping but not so far that it's rubbing against the car's body) and the piping under the gas tank shield right before the last flange. If it's hitting the gas tank shield you will need to bend your left hanger down bout a 1/4" towards the back of the car. Hope this helps.

Good tips, but there should be less motor movement with the AWR mounts.

There isn't near the movement, shifting is much better, because now the motor doesn't rock back and forth near as much.

The sounds you hear are normal due to the motor mount, nothing is rubbing or vibrating.
The stock mounts dampen out those noises, the AWR ones don't.
