Any thoughts on new plugs, wires, "distributor things" (forgive me), and possibly battery at 45K? I know the plugs are overdue and the battery is marginal, but while I'm shopping, I thought I'd look at all of it. Any gains to be had power wise? No, I didn't search, so if you know of another thread, let know.

Technically you shouldn't get power gains from those items. However, with 45k on the stock plugs, you may 'gain' some power by getting your car to perform like it's supposed to optimally. When I got new plugs and wires my gas mileage increased some. Battery you don't really need replace unless you think it is going, trouble starting etc. In which case you can have it tested at autozone for free and they will tell you the condition of it.
