View Full Version : Barb fitting with 3/16" barb and 1/8" female pipe threads

Basically I'm helping a fellow MSP owner do a boost gauge install and i need this piece because i told him not to use the shitty nylon tubing that comes with the autometer. A buddy of mine had a spare one laying around when i did my boost gauge install however i need to get another one. I have checked every place including Ace hardware and have had no luck? Anyone know where i could find one?

Hmmm....I got mine from Lowes. Try that or Home Depot. May also try Auto Part store but I doubt it. It's going to be different in your area.

just hose tie 7/32 vacuum hose over the vacuum in on the back of the gauge and run it to a tee on a vacuum source from the manifold.

I found a similar brass fitting at Home Depot when I did the oil pressure gauge.

Well I was gonna tap into his brake booster line. I already had him purchase the 3/16 tubing as well as the fittings...I guess i'll go check home depot.

lowes and home depot carry them...bought a bunch the other day...on a side note whats wrong with the nylon tubing...I've had both nylon(autometer) and vac line(greddy) and really it didnt make a difference to me....nylon line was actually easier to run thru the firewalll...eh just my two cents...which doesnt account to much with american inflation...

go to home depot, they have everything you would need.
