Alright, I got confidence from a mecanic! I've been right he and a friend took the car for a ride and they went rally with it. It took them a whole day cleaning it later on. They will replace all four suspensions and the transmission in a week!

my protege always ran a little rough for the first couple hundred miles or so, but not like yours is. sounds pretty bad to me. if i were you i would take it back one more time and say that this is bullshit and better be fixed or youll call a lawyer and itll get taken care of in a different way. especially if you bought the car brand new.

Yeah, raise hell until you are satisfied. My pro doesn't do any of that and it's not even new.

Not exactly 'brand new: it had 86km on odo when I signed the papers. I consider this quite new! As I test-drove it, I noticed a couple weird things and advised the employee who came along with me. He answered there were still some 'little adjustments' to be done. I was like 'ok then..' The car was sweet as I took possession of it... Al that started to show up after the first fuelling: 'BONG' here, 'squish' there... wobbleling (spelling?) suspentions... steering pulling to the right all the time. The mecanics told me its because of the wide-tires it had, they tend to 'follow' the road. Yeah right, but its *always* pulling to the right and *never* to the left! (braindead) I've been bullshited. I will have some friends to drive the car and collect comments.

I'll keep you informed... thx for reply!!

ours pulled to the right the first day we had it. Fixed for free under the 12k/12mo adjustment warranty. Cars get jostled quite a bit in transport and during test driving (who doesn't test drive a car fairly hard?) Anyway the dealer shoudl fix anything that you have a problem without any complaining or excuses. If it's otherwise, call their 1800 number or talk to the service manager, any negative comment to that 1800 number puts black marks on the dealerships record to corporate and hurts bonuses later in the year.

BTW the suspension will follow road bumps quite easily, especially under braking and turning. You might be noticing this. As for the pulling to the right, check to see if it's still doing this on the left side of a double lane (I know it's fairly stupid but I've caught myself thinking it's pulling to the right, only to go to the other side of the road adn find it's pulling to the left now.) Again, these cars do have very sensitive steering and will amplify any road grade or bumps.

I copy that.. ;)

Let me reformulate my statement a bit. What I meant is that when I hit a whole or a crack on the road (whatever irregular, indeed) I actually feel the suspenssions wobbleling quite a lot. Its just like the wheels jump several times very quickly. It rebound too much and is quite discomfortable too! I could reproduce this phenomenom with extreme dampers and almost no spring rate. The car sway a lot when cornering...

I have a rendez-vous already sceduled with my dealer.... This should be fixed next week

blown shocks maybe? I don't see how on a new car, but that would cause the sway and the low dampening ratio when you hit a bump.

This explain lots of thing... red-ish dust spilling out of the rim's middle cap squeese most of my attention. Exactly the same color as the rocks color found on a road nearby the dealer........ You know those red/rose stratified rocks that is easily crushable? It is the very same mineral I found on all wheels after my first carwash ride ;)
