ok i have an 03 lx, it didnt come with rear disc only rear drum, im wondering if there maybe a conversion kit out there or would i just have to swap it all out from an es, mp3, msp or p5. i also read something about, that a 4 bolt escort rear disc should fit but i dont know thats why im here lol

I would also like to know about this. I have seen 4 bolt drilled and slotted rotors on ebay but wasnt sure if it would bolt up or if I needed to modify anything.

you have to find an es mp3 to swap them out.. if i remember right u have to swap out the entire rear strut, i might be wrong , jsut go find a es and look at it then see what u need to swap , a local junk yard might have a donar car to use..

I want to know too. I want to keep the 4 bolt pattern since I already have 17" Konig Imagines and don't want to have to buy new wheels for a 5 bolt pattern conversion. Plus that'd just be a more unique touch to have a 4 bolt rear disc Protege. Not too many out there.

Ok, so suppose I want to go ahead and do the 5 lug conversion and get rid of my Konig 4 bolt Imagines(wich would really suck). What all would someone need to get and do to do the 5 bolt conversion, besides new 5 bolt wheels.

It looked like that thread you posted a link to had it's last post in November. Pretty old. Are you going to try to get the parts from the GreenMp3 guy?
