Note: As you all should know, this is not my car, I'm posting this for a friend. I'm sure some of you have seen this car before, it won at Nopi last year.

The car is a 1996 240sx base, with a fully built KA24DE-T in it producing 412whp. However, there is potential for alot more power with a more agressive tune.

The asking price is $20,000 OBO. This is a deal, it really needs to be seen to understand. The entire car is in mint condition, you could probably eat off the motor if you wanted to. It is garage kept, and There is probably almost 20k invested in mods, so your getting the car for free.

Pictures can be found here.

Thanks for the interest.

Moving on. He got to that car to the point that he liked it, and now hes starting another nissan project, lets just say that one has awd, and 2 turbos.

depends on what class it was in...and Im guess "it won at NOPI" doesnt necessarily mean 1st place.

yeah, i'm just not a fan of ka24det's..it takes so much work to do it..you might as well get the sr..but then again..i want an rb in a newer 240..someday..

Nah it won first place in its class. What is there to not make it a winner? Its got thousand dollar seats, 19" name brand wheels, a rediculous motor set up, full bomex body kit, and custom paint.

but it's clean. I see so many cars that have so much money put into them, and they look like they are schizophrenic with all the stuff going on. This car is b-e-a-utiful, simple, clean, and functional, definitely not over the top. I personally love it.

yeh thats what alot of bandwagon'er say...the ka can make over 400whp on the stock block with a good tune......i know once guy makin 375 on the fmax turbo kit and a stand alone instead of a jwt ecu.....did ur friend buy that from another guy already sportin the ka-t? when i was into my old 240sx there was a guy with the can 96 240sx same color and different rims that was makin over 400whp....but his was built.....then he sold it for a s13 sr project.....just wonderin...cus that car was one of the first ka-t to be over 400whp if it is (crazy)

yeah, i was curious about that..I have a few friends really deep into the nissan insanity..One of them sported a KA-T for a while..about 280hp. Even after excessive work to the motor, he dropped it and went for a bluebird SR...got tired of that..got a red-top fresh SR20 and upgraded the turbo..sold the car..bought a newer 240..stuffed a built RB in..after driving that car..there is nothing else.
