Did you just fill up with gas? Check your gas cap. Take it off and then put it back on. The CEL is usually emissions related. Happened to me once on my 2000 Passport and it turned out that the cap wasn't put back on right.

I also had the engine light come on about a month ago and I took it to the dealer and they replace the purge valve. They said that as long as the light doesnt start blinking then its really not that big of a deal yeah right!

I'm really surprised I didn't destroy my purge solenoid valve when I put my AEM on. It has that bracket that sticks into the stock pipe, but I couldn't get it to bolt on properly to the AEM with it on. So I had to remove the bracket and it was a bitch to get off.

Chris That's funny, I actually broke mine. I remounted it on the back of the block to a vertical bolt, and broke the plastic part of it when I was putting the tubes back on. THing is $73 freakin dollars for a solenoid.
