Hi all

Thanks for the previous replies that helped me install my new MP3 cd player.

I'd like to use the original car cd player that came with my Protege ES 2000 in another car ( Camry 1991 ) . Seem like the holes on the stereo is not standard, so it can't be mounted. Has anyone install the factory standard player in another car? I tried searching for kits but none that seems to accomodate for this ES 2000 cd player.

Any help or advice is appreciated.

Thanks
Nick

I was thinking of doing the same thing to my old cd player, I would worry more about wether or not it will connect to the wires that the camry has for the radio then how to mount it to start. Im sure you can figure out a way to do so. Go to walmart and look for a kit for the camry. what it is, is when you get an aftermarket cd player for your car, if it had a cassette player you have extra room there for where the cassette was and the cd player isnt going to fit correctly, well this kit makes it so that you can fill the void and the fit the cd player in the space provided. Check out the automoive section @ walmart.

i got it to fit in my first gen. I had to cut some of the dash out for it to fit. Its a totally custom job and looks soo bad, that a thief would just say what the hell is that thing, screw that pos looking car.
