Engine compartment paints???

Okay whats the best paint to use for my hood prop battery housing, larger hoses and what not under the hood and still able to with stand the heat, thanks

Hood prop and battery housing you can use any 500 degree paint. Nothing fancy. Most metal paints are 500 degree. Are you saying you want to paint your hoses? Bad idea. You could install colored fiberglass or CF mesh covering, which you can buy from most auto stores. Our motors dont get that hot.
I think 500 would work well for all parts of our motor (our normal coolant operating temperature is no more than about 250, I believe)

i have the anodized hose sleeves...they are a bitch to put on, but they look cool imo...the 500 degree is perfect. i did a bunch of stuff in red.
