grounding system?

ok, so I was helping my friend with a 350z work on his car, and noticed he has a grounding system. he said he helped smooth out his idle, and maybe a little more power.. nothing big.

I was wondering if there is one for our cars/proteges, how much it is, where I can buy it, and if it does anything?

does anyone have one? can you tell it does anything?
