I was rotating my tires over the weekend when I saw something quite interesting.
I had just finished jacking up the Drivers front tire(using our standard oem jack). And was starting to jack up the Drivers rear tire(using the jack from my 92' Protege). When I noticed that the rear tire was already off the ground.
Is it just me or is the suspension meant to be this tight?

It's probably because of the stiffness of the frame itself. But make sure that you did not jack the car up too close to the middle, you don't want to bend anything. I usually jack the car up from the front or rear.

yeah. that happens. same thing happened when we jacked up my friends 350z today. now that I think about it, that would really suck if it didnt do it. I cant remember if my civic did, but damn, imagine having that loose of a frame/chasis

My car goes on 3 wheels every time I leave my driveway. It's sweet.

Nice, I had to get my daughter the GI Joe Jeep, they were out of the Barbie model. I am thinking of getting some pink spray paint.

You are right about a loose frame.
This is my first car with a tight frame my 00' and 92' Protege's had quite loose frames.
However they were not as bad as my wife's 98' Malibu. It was a POS when it came to cornering. Nice power from the V6, but otherwise, ...
