yes it does..... just not very will... my whole cd collection is burned... some play just fine others won't even play a note and then even some will start to play but if you try to seek to another track it will stop completely. it sucks....

that's a REALLY personal decision which one you like best.
i like the kenwoods, myself.
i like the button volume instead of the knobs.. but that's my personal pref.

edit: i know the mp925 is a 'dial', but it doesn't stick out as much.. so i like it.

oh yeah. it's all personal preference when it comes to HUs
look and feel is a person-by-person thing... so just go out and play with a bunch at best buy, curcuit city, etc...

Im personally a Pioneer guy. There are a lot of models that have the MP3 player capabilities included. Im sure you could always check out places like www.crutchfield.com (http://www.crutchfield.com) or www.avdeals.com (http://www.avdeals.com) . Or you could always search on the web for Pioneer, Kenwood, Alpine etc.
