I got my GCs on, now I have to set the heights. Anyone got any tips? Lower fr and higher rear = oversteer (it rhymes, it must be true)? Thanks.

did you need a spring compressor to get the old springs off ?

With a set of coilovers you dont need a spring compressor at all, you remove the whole strut assembly and replace it. I dont know if you need one to put the springs onto the coilovers or if they come already put together.

Ground control coilovers use the stock struts. We have a really good spring compressor at the shop, so we just cranked them down and undid it, I'm not sure if you had to or not. These things KICK ASS though. I'm in love!

I had GC's on my MP5. I loved them on my civic but hated them on my MP5. If you recall there is a plastic 'Bearing' on top of the 'Top Hat'. Well, keep those things greesed all the time... If you dont. Water gets up there and cleans out the water proof greese over time. Then the 'bearing' starts to deteriorate and you get a nastey clicking sound when you brake and accelerate. It pissed me off. There are a couple people on here who have had the same problem. It seems that GC needs to make a alumn. 'Bearing'. I have contacted them in the past on that. So just thought I would let you know.

Hmmm... I didn't know about that bearing needing greased... that could be one of my mystery noises. Well... that and the INCESENT POLYURETHAN BUSHING SQUEEEEEEEK! MAKE IT STOP MAKE IT STOP!

Damn I gotta go grease shopping again... I feel like a perv.
