My engine keeps trying to shut off!, i didn't pay much attention to it yesterday because it only did it once or twice on the way home, but today, even the check engine light came on! I have no clue what might have caused this, or if even I can fix it. but it sounds like the engine is not getting enough fuel to stay on at idle. wht can I do?

Same thing happened to mine 3 weeks ago. Take it back to the dealer and they'll replace a faulty valve (if its the same problem as mine, car idles horribly, always cutting out). I believe its an EGR valve, but I can't remember exactly.

May be a sensor and not a valve, either way dealer should replace it free of charge.

I had the same problem about 4 months ago. I knew it had to be a sensor or something with the fuel. I then went first to the spark plugs. I had put Iridium sparks and they fouled up. Unknown why cuz they were NGK Iridiums. Before that I had Bosh Platinum 4 and had no problem. I took the NGK's out and put the Bosh back in and my problem was solved. I know that the Bosh Platinum heat up better and burn off the excess carbon build up near the tip a lot better. Maybe that could be your problem. I have a custom CAI in my MP which may have contributed to the fouled plugs to begin with but the problem went away with the other plugs. Take a look at them. See if they are fouled or not.

what does that have to do with anything? I never said i done that.
I looked at the sparkplugs(actually, a garage did) and did find that #4 was faulty(that's a direct quote) and that a new coil and plug was required, they also recalibrated the ecu(they said it was responsible, i think they lied) but now my car is running back at full power, thanks for the advice
