Looking at tires ........
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Pirelli&tireModel=PZero+Nero+M%26S&vehicleSearch=true&partnum=245WR70NMS&fromCompare1=yes
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Bridgestone&tireModel=Potenza+S-03+Pole+Position&vehicleSearch=true&partnum=245YR7S03PP&fromCompare1=yes
True there is a price difference, and they are ment for different weathers, but they preform a good in most areas. Would like feedback and any comments

Notorious_V.I.C (http://www.msprotege.com/forum/member.php?u=6020)<SCRIPT type=text/javascript> vbmenu_register("postmenu_976846", true); </SCRIPT> - they're two different classes. The Nero's are All-seasons whereas the SO-3's are summer only.
Two other all season tires to consider are:
(1) Falken Ziex 512's and
(2) Michelin Pilot Sport A/S
Four other summer tires to consider are:
(1) Falken GR Beta FK451's
(2) Yokohama ES100
(3) Continetal Sport Contact
(4) Good Year Eagle F1

What can I say, I just love the tread pattern.
I have the S-03's right now...I have had Kumho 712's and Yokohama Parada Spec-2's in the past...they don't even compare. I would say S-03's.

I have the PZeros on my eclipse and they are great if you like replacing tires every 6000 - 8000 miles.

You really are comparing Apple's and Oranges in your poll.
But before you buy tires talk to Rishie at Auto RND.
Lots of guys around here have been buying the yoko ES100s and loving them. I went a step up and got a great deal on Toyo T1-S tires. The T1-S tires are AMAZING.
Buy either from Rishie and they will mount/balance on their state-of-the-art tire mounting machine (I can't remember what it's called, but it's top of the line) and you know a shop isn't going to eff up your beautiful racing harts.

Yes the Toyo T1S's are absolutely amazing. I too got a great deal on them from my boy that works at belle tire.

So, the tread wear doesn't last long, from what you say..You sure u weren't peeling out a lot?
what about bridgestone potenza re505s ? i read that they were for max grip (summer tire) and were a step above the re404s

Treadwear all depends on how you drive, and you can't have both, long treadwear and top end performance.
That given, the Toyo Proxes that I have are much better performers then the stockers and have a higher treadwear rating, but they still likely won't last for over 25-30,000 miles max. (I do mostly freeway driving)

Here are my recommendations...
max treadlife: Toyo T1-S
max performance: Bridgestone S-03
best value: Yoko ES100

Best Tires:
BFG Gforce t/a KD or KDW-2
Goodyear Eagle F1 gs-d3
Potenza S-03's
Falken Azeni Sports
Also, i'd do some shopping around, maybe look for a local tuner shop with a wholesale account. They can usually get tires cheaper. :)

Goodyear Eagle F1's rock the fuckin mic ... if you can afford them. Last time i checked they were like 160 a tire. Its been a while though, and that was for the 18s that i needed for the Eclipse.

I'd say the potenzas because you don't have to worry about snow(I don't think) but the other ones are cheaper and they would last longer.(hump)
