do a search for "greddy block adapter" or something like that. people have used the greddy and it works

if you search youll prolly find your answers. as far as i know if it doesnt you can pay like $3 at your local hardware store and get an adapter

I bought one and I told people it will fit...it actually will if you use JDM gauges. The biggest problem is not everyone uses BSPT standards

The Greddy oil block adapter uses a thread pattern called BSPT (British Standard Pipe Threading). Its what Greddy gaues use...there senders are in BSPT. Most other cheap gauges uses NPT (National Pipe Thread) this include autometer and VDOs...more of the popular gauges. NPT and BSPT very by 1 thread per inch...so you cant just force it in.

The solution is to go to a hydrualic shop or pluming shop and finds a tap that will kinda rethread the BSPT into NPT (I think). I havent had time to go yet...so I cant really say but that should do the trick. A local supply shop told me to do that.

Are you sure? I think i read someone say he/she had to cut something or other to make the oil filter fit on it.

Since i use greddy gauges, i was just going to get the oil block adapter, but i read it wasnt a simple screw on fit...

Odd. If it does work ill just do that instead of buying 2 T's and all this other crap (want oil temp and pressure)

The filter screws on perfectly onto the bolt that was provided...remember that the newer blocks are universal fit...they have several diffrent fitting. Basically its 2 sizes. it should fit if I can attach an old oil filter to it

What you are saying though, is that the Greddy block adapter comes with a new bolt, in which we have to change out the stock one for the included one?

You have the block adapter on your car, I'm assuming. What did you have to do to install it? One last question; if I used the block adapter, do you think there is enough room up there for 2 Greddy senders?

Edit: I assume there are 2 output ports, but I'm not even sure...the Greddy website doesn't really specify how many ports there are...

There more then enough rooms for greddy senders...3 1/4 BSPT fitting and I think a M12 fitting too.

There is a bolt that comes with the kit...the bold is both femal and male. one end screws onto your stock oil filter bolt on the block. The other side of the bold screws on perfectly to your filter...hope that explains it. You got to remmber that there are 2 versions of the block adapter....the newest one is a universal fit. Meaning one size fits all...practically all Japanese engines...or most atleast.

do you see those bolts...thats what im talking about.

I dont have it one yet because I have to buy a tap to get my NPT senders to work in a BSPT hole...if you have greddy gauges they should work great.
