My APEX 3" catless downpipe broke on friday at the track. Will be calling them tommorow to see what they can do for me.

Did it break at the weld or did it tear off the flex joint?Looks like it tore off.

holy shit.. how the piss did that happen? you must have some MAD wheel hop or something. there should not be that much strain on your exhaust to move or twist or anything... you should really check out some awr motormounts and kartboy exhaust hangers.

mine is about 4 months old.. no rust.. still looks new..

it rusts from the inside out. you can see that since the DP is coated theres no rust on the surface but it began rusting from the inside until it weakened it enough to break

looks the work of winter....snow, road salt,etc. should be resolved by warranty.
I have a 2.5, and although its fine so far, I do not like the how the flex hose attaches to the back pipe. Don't get me wrong, I love the performance gain from it. It just does not compare to the custom system on my Probe GT.
It might be a weak link. I hope not!(uhm)
