well, tuesday after reading about motegi and a couple others getting in accidents lately, i left for lunch and some dumbass bitch pulled out in front of me and totalled my beautiful protege. 7000 dollars in damage plus possible suspension problems. sad day, but at least that bitch has to pay for it all. so yesterday we went to test drive a new car and ended up driving out with a brand new mazda3. awesome car. reminds me very much of the pro, so im happy. except that now we have a new 5 1/2 year contract and i only had 2 years till my pro was paid off. so anyways, all the rest of you out there be careful, i think this is a bad week for proteges.=)

yea, im just fine. thanks. my car really took the brunt of the impact. bent the A frame, smashed radiator supports, etc. lots of damage. but this time the dealer took good care of us. the new 3 is a nice car, but i already miss my protege. the crazy thing is how fast it all happened. its almost like it hasnt quite sunk in yet. but at least i get rid of this stupid loaner car tonight =). fyi guys, NEVER buy a toyota echo. crappiest, ugliest, slowest plastic pos ive ever driven.

nope, sorry, no pics. cops had it towed off and the body shop had it disassembled before i even knew what the hell was going on.=) she got me pretty good tho. although really from just looking at it i wouldnt think there was that much damage, but its all to the main infrastructure of the car, so its screwed.

Wow. Im sorry to hear about your luck. I found out today that the insurance company is going to fix it and not total it out. :) So that makes me happy now I want them to get the move on to fixing the damn thing this way I can get my car back asap.
I had the dreaded thought in my head that they might total it so i started thinking about what else I would be interested in driving. I was thinking either a mazda 6, a jeep wrangler or a mercedes c230

well at least thats good. told ya youd be up and runnin in no time=). i think i wouldve rather mine be totalled tho. it crumpled just right so even if they did replace it, the integrity of the vehicle would still be comprimised. and id much rather drive a car i know im safe in, well safer i guess=). this new 3 is tight as hell, but still not the same. i miss my poor pro:( but this is starting to grow on me already.

Well have to see. I took all day on Monday tearing out the speakers and the interior so I could finally start to work on it. I might not come up this year Im not sure. Guess it all depends on what my insurance company has to say about it.

As far as hitting you goes, I'll call you and tell you where to stand when I get in the area.

New kicker amps, and redid my box. I still gotta snap some pics of it, but its almost done. Looks hella better than last year.
