I've made the following changes to my ad on cars.com, which reflect a $200 decrease in price. The new pricing is as follows. I keep lowering my price because I am moving soon.
New Price $6,995 gets you everything except my fog lights and audio system. The car will have no audio system whatsoever, not even the stock system (I will pull all that stuff out, and I don't have the stock system)
Add $200 for the PIAA 1700X foglights (they're already on the car)
Add $600 for all the car audio, which includes the Blaupunkt Casablanca CD51 receiver, Blaupunkt IDCA09 5-disc changer, Rockford Fosgate 400a4 Punch amp, MTX 6000 series subwoofer (250W RMS power handling) in a sealed trapezoid box, Polk Audio EX2560 6.5? component set (one speaker doesn't work), Polk Audio EX693 rear deck speakers (all this is already on the car)
I hope you find my price outrageously low. None of the other ads I've seen there have even come close to the price given the mileage and the content. Thanks for your interest.

After 3 weeks on cars.com, the car was sold to a local buyer.
Thanks to everyone for their helpful comments on previous threads.

I sold my Civic on cars.com after about 3 weeks too. I put it up for $6500, and sold it for $6200. I definately reccommend that site to any of you guys trying to sell your cars.

My latest listing was for $6,900 and I caved in at $6,600 and threw in some freebies too. But I think it was a good deal for both of us. The buyer might come and read the post so I gotta say nice things about him. Lol!
The exposure I got from cars.com was pretty impressive. On msprotege, I hadn't gotten a single serious inquiry, but I got about 7 serious inquiries within 3 weeks from cars.com. If it was a more popular car like a Camcord, I would have expected even better results.
My ad cost $50. Kind of steep, yes, but worth it to move the car.
I am both happy to have the money and sad to be leaving the protegeworld.
