10.8 in the 1/8 at ProtegeFest with a slow reaction time. 1st time ever on a track
My only performance mods are an ebay short intake with a K&N cone filter and an MP3 ECU.

u probably know this but reaction times dont affect ur e/t's
biggest problem i've had in my times is i cant get the damn thing to hook up, it bounces like its on hydros all the way through first gear, i've tried everything, i need a set of awr mounts.

yah the mounts will definately help but I find that these cars(w/out0 mount launch best around 2500-3k in the rpm band, problem is if your stock mounts are worn at all like mine are then a launch like that will cause the nasty hopping your talking about. Whenever the hopping starts I immedialty back off the gas cause that is horrible for your axles.

10.2 with int/cams/exh no cats on a p5. It was enough to beat a few (3) MSP's at pfest ha ha. I wish I could get to 9.9 atleast. I will have to wait for the 7 which should run 7.xx in the 1/8th

Am I the only one who sees this? :)That's cool, give me two weeks. (rockon)
I'm still quicker in the 1/4 though. Never said I was fastest in the 1/8. It wouldn't matter anyway, since you don't drive a Protege and you don't live in North America.

323F = Protege 5
2.0 FS europe = 2.0 FS USA - in power (130hp)
So where is the difference?

No difference other than the name. I drive a Protege, you drive a 323F. If I had claimed to have the fastest Mazda subcompact, then this could be argued. So when I say I have the fastest all motor Protege in North America, it really means the world, since they only have Proteges here. It's all good though. Competition breeds sucess. As other people beat my times, it's motivation to keep on top of my car.

I should note, that my R/Ts are on a .500 tree. So my .683, is a .183. My worst time was a .199 all day. Best being .025.

Woo hoo, competition. It makes it fun. There's another 1st gen guy in high 15s too.
TX, I know R/Ts don't affect your time, but it does in bracket racing. First one off the light has the head start. Plus, with my R/Ts I rarely get beat in heads-up racing off the line.
I think since there are many of us vying for the spot of fast NA Pro, lets make a rule. You need proof of your run, ie timeslip or video. Here's my timeslip.
