radiator leak?

Well I opened my engine bay today and saw all this green stuff sprayed all over the place...so I am pretty sure its coolant and my coolant level is ridiculously low.

1. Has anyone had this porblem with the radiator?

2. I have a Injen CAI..if I take it to the dealer will they deny me service for this issue ..I mean I dont think so considering its a radiator issue you know....

Good luck with this one! I noticed a small amount of spray on the fan shrowd and hoses too. Took it to the dealer and they claim to have pressure tested it and found no leaks.

I put a worm clamp on the hose that attaches to radiator around the cap area. That is where I believe it was leaking from. Its more of an overflow than a leak.

How's the coolant in your plastic overflow tank? Was the radiator also low. If so, you might have another problem and should have that checked out. There are several threads with other fixes for leaks.

Every dealer is different. I run an INJEN too, but I just take it off if its going in. It should not be an issue, but some dealers make it one.

oh and the coolant level is LOW ...so i dont think its the coolant overflow other people have...

Well, you must have a leak, bad clamp or busted hose, radiator. The problem gets worse under driving conditions. Take it back to your servicing dealer.

I had this problem fixed twice and the second time around the service dept managed to correct it. My problem wasn't as extreme, but I did notice some residue around the clamps.
