Okay I'm tired of having a stock car, and being that I'm about to turn over 10,000 miles I figured I'll dish out the 200 bucks and get a CAI. I was planning on Injen, since I used them on all my Hondas and have been very satisfied. Anyways, I looked at the "modder's guide" and saw the $203 listing from adventon.com, but adventon.com actually wants 280. I can't find anything less than around 265??

I've been searching the net, google, ebay, and this site rigorously for the past hour and a half. Anyone know where to get this for the supposed $200?

EDIT

Okay I found it at corksport for 245...this is the cheapest yet...anyone else know of a lower priced distributor? Gotta love the internet...shop around from the comfort of sitting on my ass.

check the AV, AMM.. group buy section....."INJEN INTAKE SALE" thread.....black or polished ranging from $200-$208 shipping and all!!! Obvoisly the cheaper is for the polished and more expensive is for the black! Im thinking about gettin one myself! The thing is......20 people need to buy before the price is that good it may drop if more 'sign up' not exactly sure about that. Definately check it out man!!

if you dont wanna do the group buy, apexr1.com had the lowest prices, hands down. order over the phone and tell him you're a member of the protege forums - i believe you get a member discount.

Make sure you read the Corksport vendor view before placing an order.

Maybe you should give ION a try. Their CAI is pretty impressive and its cheaper.

Last I heard it was in the $300 range, but I might be smoking something.

Ptuning.com is for like 271.00 but they will match the lowest price you find and beat it by 10% so thats the way I'd go!

IMO, the money is way better spent elsewhere. Why not look into getting a boost gauge and mbc? You will be getting more hp/trq for the buck. If you are worried about your warranty, a mbc is just as easy to remove as an intake. Or maybe bring the car to a shop and have some 2.5 inch piping installed cat-back?

hes right about that the stock intake I hear isnt that restrictive, get an exhaust, or just buy the apex catless downpipe that will give you like 13 hp and it bolts to your stock exhaust. Its only like $313 shipped
