Has anyone tried this wax? It claims to cover surface scratches by filling them in with nanometer sized particles. Comments?

I just bought it the other week and I love it. I love th pump on the bottle and it comes with an applicator and a microfiber cloth to remove it. All for $9.99. Great deal IMO. I t goes on real smooth, and comes off real nice and easy. It made my car look so much better. I would recommend it to anyone.

Zaino

Yes, yes, Zaino's the shit, but Zaino's expensive. If I could afford to get it I would but for now I gotta go with what's at my auto parts store and finding the best one out of those is what I'm after.

I agree, I used it last weekend on both the Pro and our minivan. Although I didn't notice that it came off any easier than some others. But it shines nice. It did leave some white residue on the van's black plastic bits I had to remove the next day. I would recommend a large size microfiber cloth for anything bigger than the Protege though. I got a couple at a local dollar store.

What did you use to get the wax marks off the black parts on the van?

I used the nanowax, I thought it worked great. I did half of my hood and looked at both haves and it looked like ths side that wasnt done was blueish and the side that was done was really black and smooth.

I am still waiting for my 9.99 refund though...(4weeks and counting)

Yeah, rebates are empty promises IMO. I did one last year and I was supposed to get $30 back on a $50 purchase. Got a check for $10 and a notice saying I didn't submit the other one within the time allotted. :bs: I sent it in right after purchase and made sure the dates were right. Fockers.

They gave out some of the "tech Wax" from Meguiars @ HIN, and I used it on the ghost. It looked sooo clean and shiny, I will never use anything else. It uses nano technology as well.

Never used Zaino, I dont think all that time is worth it when you can get the same results using a carnuba wax car wash, some tech wax, and a good polish. Take that extra time and enjoy driving your car!!!

Ha ha, don't laugh, I have. That is before I was schooled by my hubby. :pI used to use Turtle wax on my grandfathers old boat. It worked awsome in keeping the hull free of waterspots and salt water stains, and made it so easy to clean. NOTHING works better than Turtle wax on beadding water off paint.

Theres so many products out there hard to know whats really good and whats just hype. I have used so many products from cheap to expensive.
I have to say that after using the Eagle nanowax, Im sold on it.
I think to get the best results you need products that work well together. To get the best results it also takes time and alittle effort on your part. By doing these to things you will get results that you can be proud of and that will make your car pop.

To get get the besst results you do need some tools.
You need good cloths like the microfiber cloths. They Rock! A high speed buffer/polisher is nice to have if you can afford one. (I am not talking about those $20 buffers like you see at walmart. I am talking about ones with speed control and you can put different aplicator pads for different compounds.)
You need to know how to use one or you can screw up your car pretty quick.
Also need some basic products like a wax cleaner, claybar is nice, polish and a good wax.

These basic things can make your car stand out.

The funny thing is I have detailed cars for years and I stil don't have everything I need. Someday though.

I used to have a friend that details for a living do my car to get out the fine scratches and stuff. Good luck everyone. Make those Mazdas shine.

Thanks! I feel so honored. Just want to add that I am not trying to tell anyone how to take car of there car or how to actually do it. Just trying to give advice from over 25 years of car detailing exp. I grew up on car lots since the age of 7. Both my uncles had lots and I used to help detail and pinstripe and stuff like that.

I have thought about opening a detail/custom tuning shop here in NE but it requires funds that I don't have.

Theres some shops here in Omaha but none of them offer the complete package. Also the work done can be questioned at times. I used to live in Hawaii and the shops that did that where the most successful.

Sorry to get off subject. LOL Thanks again and if you have any questions about detailing give me a shout. (thinking I really need to purchase a good polisher. LOL)
