Is it true that cai such as the injen makes the car idle rough and hesitate more on the msp then the factory intake?

The random idle and the hesitation happens on all MSP's....aftermarket intake or stock intake....doesn't matter.

I have no random idle.

Yes. UNTIL the ECU is reset (battery disconnected while doing the install should be long enough) or learns that more air is available. Then NO. Runs and idles great.

Thats a myth. No rough idle or hesitation.

i did have to get the maf sensor replaced, because according to the dealer, the cooler air from the injen 'broke' the sensor or something

if it works fine you don't have to. Eventually it adjusts. I still haven't reset mine.
