Is it true that cai such as the injen makes the car idle rough and hesitate more on the msp then the factory intake?

nope when i had mine it ran the same. no rough idle @ all.

The random idle and the hesitation happens on all MSP's....aftermarket intake or stock intake....doesn't matter.

Yes. UNTIL the ECU is reset (battery disconnected while doing the install should be long enough) or learns that more air is available. Then NO. Runs and idles great.

i did have to get the maf sensor replaced, because according to the dealer, the cooler air from the injen 'broke' the sensor or something :rolleyes:

i have the spool cai and everything is normal, even without resetting the ecu...

Me three :). I got the hardpipes and intake it runs fine.

yes, I do!. But I have a stock intake, and that problem got fixed...lol. timing was off.

i run fine with the injen..........
was i supposed to reset the ecu after the install?

if it works fine you don't have to. Eventually it adjusts. I still haven't reset mine.
