hey guys, I have a 2003 mazda protege 5 with a ractive short ram air intake and a cat back raven exhaust system. I'm looking into either getting 17 inch rims or a body kit. I don't really like to spend too much money but I will do what is needed. for the rims I would like them to be hyperblack with chrome on the outline of the rim. also I am looking for headers for my car at a decent price so any of those things hit me up with some links

look for the thread "Header Group Buy" for your header (not headers we have a 4 cyl car) in the Authorized Vendor for sale section.

Look for Arospeed RsGts or whatever for your rims or Konig Holes. check out whalentire.com.

Click the link in my sig for a urethane lip if you dont want to spend too much money but still want some sort of body work.

Welcome, Slim. Matt is right tho. Come check out the Group Buy. $224 shipped is a great price on this header(hehe). Go here for more info: http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=63372

As for wheels, there are a lot of good sites out there. Snoop around the Rims/Tire/Suspension Forum. I'm sure you will find somehting you like over there.

The lip Matt is talking about is really nice! I was over at Natey's(you'll soon find out who this guy is if you stick around) house on Sat. and the fitment on it was great! Not perfect, mind you, but probably one of the better ones I've seen. Not to mention the fact that it's urethane, so the chances of you breaking it are slim(heh heh) to none.

remember, a set of rimz only look as good as the drop on the ride, save some loot for coilovers or lowering springs.

a CF EVO hood sounds like its in your range

I would suggest some stickers, type-R badges ;)

Seriously, you should check the AutoEXE lip and grill (DGMotorsport makes good quality replicas at a reasonable price). They are not very expensive but they give a really nice look to your car. Also, as Iconoclast, if you're going to get new rims, be sure to low your car.
