has anyone had a problem with their brake calipiers going bad and making a sqeaking noise, like a hamster wheel? i took mines to brake check and they told me it's cus of a brake caliper that needs to get restored, cus it's worn out, and it's causeing the thing to push the brakes to get stuck...
anyone know anything..? thanks

Does the car pull to the side that makes the noise?

Well my breaks squeel, but i noticed its only in the mornings when i leave for work, or school. It also does it when i dont drive the car for an extended amount of Hrs. My service advisor told me its because the calipers are cold, HAHA RIIIIIGGGGHHHTTTTT!!!!! What a jerk off!!

i have that prob too. but now that i have the super loud HKS hiper exhaust on i kinda forgot about the noise... until stuck in traffic with the windows down.... i cant figure it out... maybe if i take the brakes apart and clean them? i want to paint the calipers anyhow... (dunno)

Yes, if i recall there is a recall on this issue. The rear brakes have a tendancy to seize. Mazda dealer fixed mine free of charge

it's a 2002.5; and unfortunately i dont have any of the paperwork left.
The dealer referred to it as a recall, althought it could have just been a TSB
