Ok, here's the deal. I need your guys help before I get too hooked on getting one. I just got my P5 in Feb. its a 2003 and only has 4,000 miles on it, however, the more and more I see MSP's in person...the weaker my knees get. (rlaugh) So, when we bought the car, we payed cash for it from my grandmother. However, we got a loan and payed her back and are now paying back the loan for that. Would there be any way I could trade my P5 in, for a MSP...I know its going to cost a little more, but maybe if I make up the difference is there a way we could break even...keep the normal payment but have a different car? I'm not too good with this money and loan part, thanks for the help. And for the record, I need more power and I can't justify $5,000 on a turbo, plus a manual swap. Thats why I want to trade. Thanks for the helps guys.

Do you only like it for the looks or do you want some better performance?
I never knew that I really want a lot of HP in a car. But as iI test drove teh RSX, I felt that even at 160 HP, it's not enough for me. So, my point is, if you're in performance also, you should spend more time looking for a car that you like appearance-wise and performance-wise.

I don't know...the more I think about it, the more I just want to keep my 5 and not worry about all of the trading hassle.

keep the p5. not all turbos are 5000, even the mighty hiboost kit is only 3600, and pirana ran his kit on 12psi, lot of power. You run it on like 7 psi and you should be more than happy, but still have the reliablity.

or find a bike that has been dropped. Bike + you = instant fast speed that is so dangerous you can be killed, but ultra fun.

But, I have an auto. Therefore I'd need a new tranny, or run like 6 psi which I don't think is worth $3,600.

Well, it really depends on what you want to do with your car. If you really like your p5 but feels that the only "flaw" is that it doesn't have enough horsepower, 6 psi sounds good enough.

However, if you plan to go drag race or whatever, you might want to consider a new tranny or maybe a new car.
