New Leak?

I've searched and found lots of info about the coolant and the turbo leak, but doesnt sound like my problem. There is a brown liquid dripping from the coolant hoses, the ones going into the firewall to the heater core. I've looked around the hoses and found nothing. It looks like oil, but is thinker..maybe a kind of grease? Is there any oil connections or oil lines in that area I missed, that might be leaking? The car only has 1200 miles on it. Thanks. Also, it only drips right after driving...not when the car sits.

You sure it's not "dirty" water coming from your evap. drain?

LOL, i cant believe someone is having this exact same prob. i was under my car yesterday installing new front bushings (MAJOR BITCH!!!) and i noticed the exact same thing. some brown, oily, liquid dripping from the two (approx 3/4") rubber hoses right under the intake plenum. i know its not just water since it dripped on my exhaust and left some pretty good stains. i honestly couldnt locate a leak anywhere either and i didnt get my dad to look at it yet so i honestly dont know. if someone doesnt chime in about what this is ill have my pops look at and he'll know. peace

Ok, here's some pictures. The first one you can see the two heater core hoses, with the oil on it. Second one is my nice new downpipe stained (notcool) I have no idea where its coming from. I really don't want to take it to the dealer.

nope but prolly soon, i just found out yesterday that my corksport is vibrating against the crossmember. i thought i friggin blew the diff or something, so it looks like ill be under the car sooner than later
