My new exhaust!
Sound is 20% louder than stock, and I finally got the throaty sound I was after when I rev. Tolerable resonation levels at highway speeds (80 @3500K).
Main reason for replacing the stock muffler section (only) was I hated the looks of the racing beat muffler. Plus my new muffler/piping weighed about 1/4 of the weight of the RB system.
Anyone want to host about 6MB worth of vidoes so u guys can eval the sound from outside the car?

i'll add the links to the list right away. sounds nice :). it sounds a lot like mine. just to verify, you only have an axleback right? what size piping are you using? oh yeah, when you shift, it sounds like you're getting a clean sound, i.e. no turkey. am i right?

Correct, axleback only. It is mandrel bent (small shop) 2.5" piping, but it is fine for now. Very raw, clean sound. Turkey is still there if you rapidly get off the throttle (only).

Well That will net you more power but the best thing would be to replace all the stock piping they are doing a GB right now on a mid-pipe from wagnermotorsports with a hi-flow cat welded into to it very nice I plan to get one in the future for my P5 here is the thread-http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=64755
Here is a pic of the mid-pipe-

Not sure I agree, according to my butt dyno, i gained a marginal amount. Negligible, but noticeable.

I replaced the whole thing with a Greddy SP2, much better overall sound, and at least NOW there IS a noticeable performance gain...
