is their a way to get more power out of these headers? i heard that is you wrap them with some sort of insulation the exhaust will stay hotter and flow faster?

You can wrap your headers with heat wrap, however, there are mixed opinions about whether that will shorten the life of the headers or not. I got mine Jet-Hot coated.

But it is certainly more expensive than wrapping them. This is supposed to protect the headers, and keep the engine compartment temps lower, to increase power slightly. I never worried about that, I just wanted the headers to last as long as possible.

Supposedly, just wrapping the header heat soaks the header from the inside out, and it will just start to turn to ash. You shouldnt need to coat and wrap them, when they coat the headers (if they do it right), they do it inside and out. so that the actual header isnt exposed to hi temps like before. Hell if I know if coating works. Jet-Hot seems to be a reputable company, lots of info on their web site. Of course, they're trying to make you buy their product, so who knows. I know the temps in my engine bay are cooler than they were before (with stock exhaust manifold).

ceramic coating has different textures and colors. it'll cost you more, of course.
the choices are limited:

Just get them ceramic coated like mine. 160cdn. All said and done. They did it inside and out. Either black or the silver finish i got.
