Make sure NF is on in the radio settings (I think hold in the AM button to check that?).

To the dealer I guess then. You are talking about the rear speakers in the doors right? I haven't heard of those being an issue before...so head to the dealer.

no not the rear speakers in the doors, the ones by the back window. it's those 2 and the sub.

Word. You'll NEVER get sound out of there unless you put your own speakers there.

really? that's pretty ghey...that would also explain why they arent working.(braindead either way, i still dont know why the sub isnt working...when i got the car, it wasnt working either. didnt know why it wasnt, then after we disconnected the battery, it magically started working (probably cause the previous owner had turned it off with the AM button i didnt know about at the time.) so i'll try that and hopefully it works.
You know, you have a turbo in the car, too...

Read the stickies - a dead sub is one of the many common problems for the MSPs

The stock sub in the MSP is a piece of crap. That's why I replaced mine with something a little better :)

stupid mazda...hey, since i live 100+ miles away from the nearest mazda dealer, do you think they'd check out my sub, my nasty squeeling-type noise from my engine, my clunk, my front suspension creak, my brake noise, and flash my ecu all in the same appointment?(scratch) (naughty)

Check the fuse on both the amp & the power wire at your battery. Chances are one of them blew. I think it's a 20amp blade.

I laughed at this, but I have to agree with the guy. I saw the Kenwood covers and assumed speakers were mounted in there. I was counting all the spots like dayam, there are 9 speakers in this car stock. I hooked my Infinity 12" up the day I brought the car home, though, so I don't really know what the stock 10" sounds like. I ran new wires this past weekend from the battery back to my MTX amp, and I am now running that to the Infinity Kappa 12.1" I looked at those rear speakers when I did not hear anything coming from them, and I noticed the dummy panel also. However, I actually had that rear trim off, and I noticed there are wires plugged in to the bottom. So, what I am wondering, is if it would be easy to just pop a set of speakers in that spot? Also, I ran two new Fosgate twisted signal cables for the subwoofer and rear channel. I might use the stock Kenwood amp to push speakers in the rear window. I could mount some nice Infinity Kappa 3-Way or a good set of Kenwood if they have any. Any opinions on this? I have 4 amps to choose from, and 3 subs.
I have the stock 2ch Kenwood amp and 10" sub.
I have a 10" Infinity Kappa 10.1 and 2ch MTX amp
I also have a 12" Infinity Kappa 12.1 and 4ch MTX amp
How should I do this? Oh, I also have a stupid Pioneer 4ch amp that I have been using to push all 9 Infinity speakers in my show car, which has the 10.1 in it currently, mounted in a custom trunk setup. My gf drives that car right now. So should I use the 4ch amp to push both subs, or all of the speakers in the MSP. Then should I use the 2ch MTX amp to push the Infinity sub? Technically I could just remove the Kenwood amp rack if I do that, I won't even be using it, and I could use the space. My friend is considering making me a custom setup to accomodate the better products. I also considered using the 2ch to push the rear window speakers, and the 4ch to push both subs? Opinions? What speakers would I use for the rear window if I go that route? Thanks! Nic
