I thought I had my problem solved. but I guess not. I am installing 2 oil gauges and thought I'd be slick and put in the Greddy Oil Filter Block Adaptor (http://www.greddy.com/products/products.asp?catidx=5&catname=Oil%20Related&prodtype=22&prodtypename=Oil%20Filter%20Block%20Adapter). My gauge senders are 1/8" NPT, the greddy is threaded with 2 ports 1/8" PT and a larger metric one that I don't plan to use. I'd think that the senders would thread in fine, but they don't. Can someone explain why not? Should I buy the correct tap and tap the holes in the filter block adaptor, or is there another more elegant solution? thank for your help.
