ok so i got my magnaflow muffler in the mail today. on the box it says "straight through design" and " no backpressure". im gettin my resinator cut out and replaced with just a piece of pipe. is this gonna make my back pressure drop? i thought i read somewhere that a loss of back pressure will cause a drop in low end torque???????any help will be great cuz im gettin this done in the mornin.thanks

if u install any aftermarket muffler or piping u will loose it most of the people dotn realize that u get those 2-5HP(mufler itself) on very high RPM and i dont think u want to keep ur RPM in 5000-6000 to enjoy ur new $50 muffler (hand)

Don't worry about it. The cats provide so much restriction that you won't even notice the difference with a muffler change.
