Ok guys, i dont have a lot of money but i want a good looking backlit gauges. autometer are ok but i dont like the front lit look. the setup im thinking is 4 gauges. my problem is those 4 gauges from autometer are about $200 while the defi ones are about $510 for d-gauge and $900 for defi link with the controler. now that i actually added up the defi link ones thats just way too much for me. anyone here with defi think the d-gauge are worth the $300 more? any opinions here would help guys. thanks.

i have 3 of em sitting other there that were supposed to go on my civic but never made it there. the sensors are still on it so they dont help me. they just seemed like really cheap gauges. beautiful yes, but cheap and prone to breaking. i went to 3 different shops with 3 different sets of gauges and none of the shops could get them to work. im not messing with em again...

I dont really like the defi gauges that much. I would much rather get some greddy or blitz gauges over them

does greddy or blitz make gauges in US units like defi does? im one of those poor people you think in terms of psi and F...

Defi all the way.
I bought mine from ebay for nearly half the price I see retailers selling them from. Even blew away the "deals" I found on the boards.
Got my entire setup, autometer dual gauge (full) and defi oil pres + a/f for under $300 USD.

I love my Defi Gauges, they where the only gauges that met my requirements. Quality units, rear illumination matching protege factory, Imperial units (PSI, etc..), Electric gauges where applicable (the boost gauge is mechanical). Totally worth it in my mind. I am 100% satisified with mine.

Im also totally satisfied with my Defi gauges... i get nothing but compliments on how well they look next to my factory gauges. Very responsive and very accurate.
Autometer are good gauges though if youre looking for the cheap. Defi are just a little nicer IMO.

Anyone know if the bulbs on the link gauge can be changed? They are green backlit.

The Defi D-Gauges are red backlit, in case anyone was wondering.

Hey Jrodhotrod: Are your gauge faces white or black?
Stormtrooper77: Any word yet on whether the LED's can be changed for the DIN 3gauge pannel?
