Just curious of what everyone thinks that would look like. I don't remember ever seeing a pic of one.

Well I've been thinking about it for a while. Your thread just made it come back to the forefront. I hope someone has a pic.

Titanium Gray just calls out for dark gunmetal or even black rims IMO

Is it possible to get a pic of the whole car? I've been thinking about bronze also, but i'd like to see them with the whole car in the pic.

I dont think the bronze rims look right with the titanium speed. It would look alot better on blue or black.

I'm going with black, but then again that's my plan for the whole car.

ill have to look for a full pic of my car.. that was on a rainy day so its kinda gloomy. personally i dont prefer black due to the fact that it makes the car look dull unless they are glossed.

Yeah I'm definitely not feeling the bronze rims on the Titanium.
Not feelin' it either - sorry - a little too "WRC-car-wannabe" to me.
Titanium's cool tho, good base pallette for mods. Actually, the '03 brighter wheels would look great on it IMHO, YMMV etc.

The more I look at other pics, the more I agree with you. I think wheels on a car look better when they contrast & the Hypersilver color of the 03.5 wheels matches too closely.

I think the 3.5 rims look better on the silver than they do on the titanium. On the titanium it looks like your trying to make them match but they don't quite. It either needs to be dead on for a monochromatic look or contrast. Like black rims + polish lip on a black car, or gold rims on a black car. Not gunmetal which is just 1 off. The 3.5 rims aren't dark enough, or light enough, for the titanium IMO. (dunno)
edit: pro5man..my opinion would be ; because the titanium is not quite a dark color, and definitely not a dark color I say either go black or alloy. The Bronze like in the seki's is too inbetween like the stock rims..not quite dark, not quite light.

It seems to me that this poll is staying extremely close. It looks like the only thing that's coming out for sure is that the majority of you guys think I'm a crackhead.

Hell yeah! Bronze and titanium is sweet. Besides, it seems like every silver car has gunmetal rims. It's looks good. But, it's too commonplace. I never see silver/bronze (except on car forums).

For alum wheels, our stocks are pretty sweet guys. I've had people come up to me and say that they look better than some of the expensive chromed out rims on other sports cars. Plus, they hold their look even when they're a bit dirty. I think you guys are all on the wrong track, and should invest this money into something that mazda actually didn't do so well on this car ie. FMIC, pistons and rods, standalone or MPI tuner, turbo-back. Just my $.02.
$0.02 well spent
light Bronze on titanium....nope.
dark bronze like above...not bad at all.

well, i dont have a full shot of the car with the wheels yet, but i can say i love the way they look on my car. also, i know i can have people vouch for my the look of my car with them. DiscreetSpeed is one of them along with any one else in houston that has seen my car. i honestly dont mind if no one likes the look because ill be the only titanium speed with bronze wheels (woowoo). ill have some full pics when im finished with my system until then youll just have to wait.

For blue, I'd say black, then gold, then white.

if anything id say do what you like not what someone else likes. there would be a higher chance of you regreting what youve done. if you wanna be typical go gun metal or hyper black, id say gun metal because if they ever need to be repaired or repainted from curb damage you can match it. hyper black cant be done here in the US because of the fact that it has lead in the paint.

Any more pics of bronze rims on a Titanium speed? I saw some 5zigen's on a Titanium MR EVO and I thought it looked good. (This months issue in Sport Compact Car)
