Does anyone have one of these? If so, how much performance did you gain. Seems awfully high for $600!! http://corksport.com/main.php3?primNavIndex=0&mainURL=%2Fstore%2Findex.php3%3Fcat%3D220745

I was looking at that the other day too...seems like something to be careful about though...I've never upgraded a throttle body on a FI car before, but I'd keep my eye on the boost pressure...you never know what could happen...

Ummm I can't think of car that's ever had a TB as a bottleneck in the system. I think I'd mildly consider this mod if I was getting close to 300whp and needed 1 or 2 more to get there.... I'm not sure about FI cars but most NA cars I've seen that were HEAVILY modded gained about 1-3hp with a larger TB.

Actually, I was hoping the wider throttle body would help lean out our "pig-rich" conditions in a mostly stock car.

It's a thought, but theoretically based on what you just said, so would a CAI...I haven't looked into it, but did that ever lean out the mixture?

Well, I think it did a little bit, but I still think it could be leaned out a bit more...'ya think?

Ran a search and found that ION's CAI slightly leaned out the A/F.

5mm is a pretty decent size up in the TB, but again, I'd save this one for last. If you want to lean your A/F save up for the Unichip. It's about $200 more and will yield much better results.
