buildup in coolant tank

I have some buildup of some random debris in my coolant tank and im just wondering if its normal or could it be the silcone hosing im using that may be melting on the inside??? just wondering if anybody can help me out. thanks

anybody?? Mainly just wondering if it is ok to use silcone hosing for the coolant hose to the radiator.

if your coolant is getting old, maybe around 30k then you should flush the system. Im not too sure about silicone hoses.

I doubt its the silicon tubing -
but if you think it is then take one off and look at it. I think this would be the easy way to check (poke)
