apexi only cuz my friend uses it on his turbo supra and it never spikes.. never see the hks

avc-r has the gear selectable boost. So if you dont want to make too much power off the line you can have it set low, then higher as you go up in gears.

If the HKS doesn't offer this feature then I've go with the AVC-R. This would be great for launches and just driving around and keeping some traction in first.
