WOW, my 3rd thread in OT in like 10 mins...this is not like me LOL.

Anyway, for a couple weeks now, I've had this Isearch crap in my IE window. I used to have my favorites underneath the Address line, but this thing bumped them to the right & replaced them with it's own stuff. They are now on the far right & I can't move them back. Whenever I get an Error Page, instead of the Page Cannot Display, I get Isearch telling me it couldn't find it. I was able to deal with these first 2 things, but just this morning, Isearch keeps setting itself as my homepage (instead of MSProtege of course). This is where I draw the line...how do I get rid of this crap? (gun)

In case no one knows what I'm talking about, I can take a screenshot to show you (just ask).

run some spyware software like spybot and/or ad-aware. you can get both from download.com

OK, I just had some box for meeting women pop up on my screen while I was typing my last post! I am DLing the stuff you suggested immediately.

The ironic thing is I didn't mind Isearch at first because it has an integrated pop-up blocker, but it didn't block that. In fact, I've never even seen anything like that because you usually just get pop-ups when you click a link or close a window, but I didn't do anything.

I DLed both, but decided to go with SpyBot. It found a whole bunch of crap, but Isearch was still there. Then I realized that I should try looking on their own site & I found the solution:

http://toolbar.isearch.com/uninstall/
WOOHOO, MSProtege is now my homepage once again! (dance)
