Okay i have an autometer ultralite boost gauge, quesstion is, when the car is off the needle sits at 1 psi, when in at WOT it levels off to 8 psi. So my real question is...Am i actually boosting 8 psi or 7, should i subtract 1 psi becuz of this? hope that makes sense.

Send it back to Autometer and have them recalibrate it.

Mine sits at .5 PSI. I bought it used.
There were ones in the store display that were sitting anywhere beween 0 and 1 psi.

Yea im getting rid of my autometer boost gauge as well. The first one I got for my msp sat at zero for a little while then after a short amount of time started to sit at 2psi. So I took that shit off and got another boost gauge and now its doing the same thing. What a pos.

Mine sits at 1 also. I had autometer before (6 years ago) and those were fine. It was Vac only if that matters.
I won't be getting another autometer either.

So, what boost gauge would you recommend? I'm a little new to the game here.

Im getting the greddy boost gauge. That should be alot more accurate then the autometer. Only thing is it reads in bars rather then psi.

Defi gauges have an outstanding reputation too.

Send it back to Autometer and have them recalibrate it.
Is it free? If I have to pay, then I will try to exchange with Jegs. I've had the gauge for 4 months and from day one it never quite sat right.

They should do it for free.

defi gauges are the best i've seen.
they also match the MSP gauges very well.
autometer is on the low side of accuracy.....
but i must say, it still works fine and sits at "0" after my car rolled 12 times....
