The provisions for factory foglights are present in your vehicles. i recently swapped fogs for an MSP lip and discovered that all the wiring minus the actuall jumper from the wheel well to the fogs was there. There is a switch, blue male end plugged into the dummy switch in the dash. And the harness continues down to the passenger side wheel well and ends just under the washer bottle with a grey female end. The only peice that is not present is the jumper to the fogs, this is probably due to the fact that the MSP has a different turn signal circuit and does not use lamps mounted in the bumper like a P5. It uses the fender mounts instead. So this harness is not neccessary as it has the foglamp harness integrated into it.

For anyone wanting to integrate factory fogs you can purchase the foglight harness for an MP3 or an MSP (03) from the dealer or simply fabricate a jumper out of 12 guage wire and some weather proof connectors, if you want to cut the harness. this system does not need a new or larger fuse as it is on the same circuit as the headlamps and that circuit was designed for standard protege's and is equipped to handle the additional amperage of the foglights.

Yes if you pop off one of the black square things where the dash dimmer light is, there is a blue harness which I assume is for a foglight switch.

So...the only problem is that the lip makes the holes too small for '03 fogs?

Thank you!!Yes, I understand most of the wiring is there, but apparantly the factory fogs won't fit because of the front lip.(dunno)

you are correct, which is why you should look into aftermarket fogs

Well, by putting on the 2003.5 lip you will have the same problem as the stock 2003.5 MSP's....the stock fogs won't fit.

No you cannot retain the fogs on your P5 with the MSP lip. The lip uses the 3 mounting holes for the fog light brackets as a mounting points.

Or custom made inserts that look stock and hold foggies!
