With those mods, assuming he has good fuel maps w/ the haltech, the time is possible. With those kind of mods you can be close to pushing 300 whp, with proper boosting.

Oh Im sure he does... I'm sure he has to take it EXTREMELY easy from the start otherwise he'll have MAD wheel hop, but then again, w/ those mods I wouldn't be suprised if he had AWR motor mounts, but even then, I'm sure he's burning out 1st-3rd gears easy.

One thing I noticed with my Apexi AVC-R is that it does not match up with the speedometer all the time, so one of these days when I get the nerve to go that fast I will see where it cuts out again. I am willing to bet that the speedometer is off by ~5-7 at that speed.

Actually i got my speed to 136 after 5,000 miles on the car, and i just recently hit either 140 or 141, i wasn't staring right at it, i was too busy watch for curves on I-40. But i know it should go a little higher it was still pullin, but i don't want tickets etc.....problably a stupid thing todo but my friend bugged the shit out of me to do it so...

Yeah hes running the Neo Gens. He gets no wheel hop at all just some spin but no hop. I am still running the stock tires and when I went to the track I ran a 15.0 with just intake. But better tires will definetly improve your times and wheel hop.

" Using the ET method, I come up with 347 horsepower
Using the Speed method, I come up with 539 horsepower"

347hp is fesible(sp?) if he's running the T28 pretty high... just depends on the tuning and gas he used.

Im sorry, but without some axles and tranny work, there is no way a protege is in the 11s.
Hell, theres an srt4 here, running a 125 shot on slicks that is having trouble getting into the 11s with 400+hp and tq, and the guy has alot of seat time already in his car.... avgs 7.70s in the local 1/8th.
