Here is what happend, i was going down the rodad at about 47 mph and there was on coming traffic and out of no where a car pulled into my lane to pass the car in front of it but the bad thing is that car was in my lane and was going to hit me. So rather than throwing it in a ditch i locked em up and slide like a good 8 to 9 feet. Now when i drive i hear a clump clump evertime the wheel turns over. Sorry, i didnt get hit. but back to my question, there are a bit of flat spots on the tires will they wear down to where i wont hear them anymore? Thank Guys!!!

You could do a few burnouts, but I wouldn't suggest it. It wears away your tires fast. If I were you, I'd just put up with the bump bump bump. Just my view.

Maybe try some sandpaper to wear it a little bit?

I'm not sure what else you can do, but I'd definately take the car to a dealership and explain the situation. Tires shouldn't get spotted like that unless you have some really aggressive brake pads. I've seem spotting on track raced cars, but not new cars.... :( Goodluck man.

Something similar happened to mine and I just autocrossed it a few runs and that kinda got rid of the flat spots. Autocross is like rubbing them with sandpaper only more fun!

I think I have the same thing. After locking up the brakes and skidding through a turn at 20-30mph on Sunday I have noticed the same thing. I hear the wobble sound, even when I coast downhill with the engine off. It doesn't pull any way but at 40-50 mph it sounds awful. Any suggestions would be helpful.

I guess that's the price we pay for having soft tires. Maybe a burnout and some sandpaper...that's what I would do.
