Custom MP w/ High Cat???

Considering getting a custom 2.5" midpipe w/ a High Flow cat welded on? If you have done this yourself, please let me know how you went about fabricating this and how much it cost.

that's funny that you asked this question! today, went to a few exhaust shop's an asked them if bought a hi-flow cat from them if they could make me all new piping from the downpipe to the cat and from the cat back, to the stock muffler.need less to say, one shop said they won't do it something about tampering with the factory cat's if their not damaged it is not legal! one shop said they would do it but, they're cost was $319.00 for the cat and 2 1/2" shity crush bent piping.WOW! i was trying to save some $ buy doing this i guess that won't be a good idea! sorry, i know this is not what you asked for but it give's you some idea of the cost.

Im going to have a friend ( I dont have a TiG welder) weld me up one this summer- hopefully 3" HF cat - should run me around $400 from the downpipe back (yeah the s shaped DOWN PIPE)

auto-logic in houston quoted me ~$400-$450 for a dp/mp w/cat combo. 2.5" ss and all tig-welded. that's who i want building mine when i get the money.

Well, a hammer can easily fix non-broken cats..... say you hit a really big rock or something #267......
