ok i've been quite interested in making myself a custom SRI with some home depot/autozone piping, and good old fashioned know how, problem is, i need a GENERAL VAGUE idea of what an intake looks like installed in our cars, i've been searching the site for about anm hour and the only pics i found looked liek this [X] could ANYONE please post pics of what their intake looks like so i know generally what i'm up against?

step 1: buy piping
step 2: make it fit
step 3: ???
step 4: Profit!!
The design doesnt really matter a whole lot as long as it doest really restrict flow alot.
Mine is just a piece of straight piping to the MAF, and a little bend after the MAF to make the filter sit under the filter.

yeah you're right, i guess if i decide to go cold air then it's a different story, but i think short ram will do fine for now, well thanks, after tinkering with my stock airbox i mapped out in my head what needs to be done, i don't think there's any way to really avoid relocating that resivoir tank but that would kinda be cool too
