how much did you end up paying for the sterling coating? i was quoted at $165 without shipping and handling and i could have sworn that somebody mentioned that they payed much less than this. the sales rep said $165 is the going rate for 4 cylinder engine headers. can anybody confirm this. i did try a search but it was a no go. and please comment on the performance you have been getting out of the coating. thus far ive heard nothing but positive things.

The only price I've seen here was $180 for the Jet hot sterling...Whenever I get my header it's going out also.

It may have been me who you remember saying it cost less. I remember making a post and not remembering exactly what it cost, so I probably pulled a number that was close to it out of my ass. Def. worth the money though.

I think it was AlbinoMuntjac or whomever bought his AWR that quoted the 180...

wow you guys pay a lot! i just had mine coated here in oz - see http://www.hpcoatings.com.au/pages/hipercoat.htm - $187aud was the price - about $140usd - basically the same as jet
