I wanna get a black injen intake and was wondering where I can find the best price. So far the best i have found is 275USD. I also wanna know if anyone has any ideas on where I can get a box of mandrel bends 2.5 or 3 inch preferably, and how much? I tig weld during the day and figured I could put some of that skill to use making hardpipes exhaust small stuff for my MSP.

but Apex wants $8 and 4-5 days to get the black -
Just get the polished and have it anodized for a few $ -
around here its about $3 for the intake to anodize it - ill be calling them when I order my injen - anodized black! (or should I go any other color??) they can do matte silver like out badges easily!

Have you ever seen those fittings that are blue and red?? That is anodizing-
Its a chemical etch/surface hardner for aluminum.
It can be done in just about any color and anodized aluminum will not oxidize and it hard as all gets- (you cant sand down an anodized part - it takes forever by hand)
(rockon)
ill see if I can get you a pic-

Look in your local yellow pages- should list a few- just remember - they will want to charge you a lot initially - but like chroming they usually do a LOT of parts at a time, so to add your shouldnt cost much as they generally dont have any setup costs to speak of.
I was quoted around $3 for larger items
